Meet The Founder

Meet Omayma Ramzy; the award-winning celebrity makeup artist and founder of Omayma Skin. With over 10 years of beauty industry experience, she’s known for her ability to perfect skin. Her passion for clean and organic skincare led her to create Omayma Skin, channeling her Egyptian heritage.

Having spent much time in Morocco and North Africa, Omayma learned the secret skin rituals of the Saharan people. These nomadic desert dwellers are widely known to place great importance on their appearance and use natural plants from their environment to create skincare products.

Omayma moved to Los Angeles and went on to work as a makeup artist in the fashion and film industry. She continued to incorporate the skin rituals she learned, into nourishing the skin of her clients against LA’s harsh, polluted and dry weather. 

During this time, Omayma would endlessly be mixing and matching oils to create the perfect oil she could never quite find.

Omayma has worked with countless celebrities and incredible brands, having been called upon to do makeup on wonderful people like Paris Jackson, Jenna Elfman, Marisol Nichols, Logic, Chloe Bennett, Laura Pausini, and so many more. She cultivated her insider knowledge, doing makeup for brands like Marc Jacobs, Kinship Skincare, Thrive Causemetics, Puma, Banana Republic, and Staud and had her makeup featured in magazines like Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and Marie Claire. 

Backed by her knowledge and the amazing results she gave her clientele, she decided to create her first product: The Bedouin Elixir Facial Oil. This facial oil is vegan, organic and made with 15 of nature’s most Phyto-potent botanical oils, formulated to replenish and revitalize skin.

Her goal is for every person to have radiant, nourished skin, by taking their skin care from routine to ritual.
