Nourish Your Skin from Within

As an esthetician and skin lover, I’ve always believed glowing skin starts from within. What you feed your body shows up on your skin—plain and simple.

When I nourish myself with antioxidant-rich berries, healthy fats, filtered water, and essential skin vitamins like A, C, E, and zinc, I can see the difference. Food is truly skincare you can eat.

When I’m eating for my skin, I choose anti-inflammatory foods, deeply hydrating ingredients, and foods that are packed with skin-loving nutrients.

These are some of my go-tos:

🌿 Berries – Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries… all rich in antioxidants that fight free radicals and help protect your collagen.

🥑 Avocados – Full of healthy fats and vitamin E, they help keep skin supple and soft from the inside out.

🥕 Carrots & sweet potatoes – Loaded with beta-carotene (which your body converts to vitamin A), they support skin cell renewal and a healthy glow.

🐟 Fatty fish like salmon and sardines – Rich in omega-3s, which help maintain the skin’s lipid barrier and reduce inflammation.

🥬 Leafy greens – Think kale, spinach, and arugula. These are full of chlorophyll and antioxidants that help detoxify and brighten the skin.

💧 Water – Never underestimate hydration. I like to add cucumber, mint, or lemon to mine for extra skin support and a spa-like feel. In addition to drinking water, I also am a big believer in eating your water. This means eating fiber-rich hydrating fruits and vegetables like cucumber, watermelon, honeydew melon, and strawberries.

🍵 Matcha – I swap coffee for matcha because it’s rich in antioxidants with anti-aging and anti-acne benefits. Matcha is often preferred over coffee due to its unique combination of caffeine and L-theanine, which provide a more sustained and balanced energy boost without the jitters or crashes associated with coffee. Matcha also offers a higher concentration of antioxidants and potential health benefits compared to coffee.

Daily tip from my routine:
I always start my morning with warm lemon water and follow it with a smoothie rich in greens, berries, flaxseeds, and collagen powder. It’s one of my favorite ways to nourish my skin before I even reach for my skincare.

Nourishing your skin from the inside out – it’s like a love note to your future self! Xx

With love and radiance,

Omayma
